POMONA, Calif. - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Pro Stock Motorcycle at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 41st annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Blaine Hale Runs 7.879/131.24, Now #20; Best prior run: 7.293/185.33, Was #20

2:53 p.m. Current weather conditions: 78 degrees, 26 percent humidity, the barometer is 29.32, altitude is 2100 feet, track temperature is 87 degrees. Hale was on a decent pass, but had problems late and shut down.

Left Lane: Freddie Camarena Runs 7.290/173.94, Now #18; Best prior run: 7.277/184.98, Was #18
Right Lane: Thomas Byrd Jr. Runs 7.400/173.18, Now #21; Best prior run: 7.399/178.95, Was #21

A couple of decent passes for the conditions, but no improvement.

Left Lane: Tom Bradford Runs 7.168/191.38, Now #12; Best prior run: 7.229/183.64, Was #17
Right Lane: Connie Cohen Runs 7.388/179.28, Now #19; Best prior run: 7.284/182.23, Was #19

Bradford makes a big move here, running a career best, and gets in the show in the 12th spot.

Left Lane: Joe DeSantis Runs 24.614/26.35, Now #17; Best prior run: 7.221/185.41, Was #17
Right Lane: Michael Phillips Runs 7.252/185.97, Now #16; Best prior run: 7.218/187.18, Was #16

Bad news for DeSantis, he was just bumped out of the show, then he has problems off the line and shuts down. Phillips is on the bump and stays in the show.

Left Lane: Matt Guidera Runs 7.146/183.99, Now #11; Best prior run: 7.205/183.99, Was #15
Right Lane: Chris Rivas Runs 7.200/184.50, Now #15; Best prior run: 7.198/185.89, Was #14

Another big move here, Guidera moves up four notches to the 11th spot. No help for Rivas and he falls one spot on the ladder.
