Olivarez with the starting line advantage and the lead until just before half track and that was when Torrence blasted by him to take his fourth National event win. I think that Torrence has clinched the Championship with this win. This was a good drag race. Steve Torrence's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.021), 330 ft(-0.012), 660ft(0.008), 1,000ft(0.025). MOV: 0.0362 seconds (approximately 14 feet).
