HOUSTON -- Heading into this weekend's NHRA Fall O'Reilly Nationals in Ennis, TX Powers Motorsports is proud to announce that the team has entered into an exclusive sponsorship agreement with Valvoline.

"David Powers Motorsports has done an amazing job this year," said Rolf Linder, Vice President of Marketing for Valvoline. "We couldn't be prouder of "Hot Rod" for his unbelievable performance behind the wheel and of the team for all their hard work. Everyone at Valvoline is extremely excited to be on broad with the team and looking forward to our future together."

Powers Motorsports has solidified all contracts with team members and will run a full season in 2006 with current crew chief Lee Beard and assistant crew chief Rob Flynn tuning the dragster and 14 time National event champion Rod Fuller piloting the mean machine.

"The team works exceptionally well together," said a trilled Fuller. "They have all worked so hard this season and I am confident to say they have given me one of the top performing dragsters in the sport. I couldn't be happier knowing that we will all be racing together next year and that my long time supporter [Valvoline] will be with us as well. Everyone at Valvoline as been so supportive and I am proud to know that there name will be flying down the track with me while we chase the 2006 Championship."
