Gibson got off the starting line first but chattered the tires for the first 330 feet. Manzo had the quickest TAFC run of the weekend so far to take the win and get a trip to the final round.

Ray's car broke in his second-round win over Burnett and he did not answer the call. That gave Newberry a competition single into a final round matchup against Manzo. Newberry made a nice pass but was not quick enough to earn lane choice in the final round.
