MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Top Alcohol Dragster at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 21st annual Toyo Tires NHRA Nationals:

Albert was first off the starting line and extended his lead as he went down the track. Veale did not get his car stopped in time and went into the dirt at the end of the track.

Bourke got off the starting line first and was leading at 60-feet but then Kosky got by him and pulled away for the win. Mike Kosky's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.015), 330 ft(0.045), 660ft(0.034), 1,000ft(0.012). MOV: 0.0067 seconds (approximately 3 feet).

McPhillips had the quicker reaction time and led this one past the 1,000 foot marker, but then Mercier got by him to take the win. Dan Mercier's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(-0.062), 330 ft(-0.069), 660ft(-0.071), 1,000ft(-0.060). MOV: 0.0173 seconds (approximately 6 feet).

DeAngelis was first out of the gate and had the early lead. But then Federlin got by him and pulled away to take the win.

Benkovich was first off the starting line and was leading at 60 feet. She led the race at 60 feet but then Thacker powered by her and pulled away for the win. He'll have lane choice over Federlin in the second round of eliminations.
