NORWALK, Ohio -- IHRA fans and racers can relive the 2004 Hooters Drag Racing Series, from San Antonio to the
final event at Rockingham. Starting Monday, December 6th through February 18th, SPEED will air
IHRA drag racing at 5:00pm Monday through Friday, followed by Monster Jam.
The 55 hours of IHRA programming SPEED has chosen to air in early prime access will be a major
benefit to IHRA and its advertisers. "Not only will our sponsors get millions and millions of
dollars worth of additional exposure, but this gives new viewers a chance to see the 2004
Hooters IHRA Series in its entirety," stated IHRA President Aaron Polburn.
"People can gear up for the start of the 2005 season by going back and watching 2004.
Television viewership increases during the winter, so this block of programming makes perfect
sense," Polburn continued.
Viewers will be able to watch the season unfold one hour at a time. National events will be
divided into two one hour segments aired on back to back days. The first hour of programming
will be Top Fuel and Pro Modified, and the second hour will be Funny Car and Sunoco Race Fuels
Pro Stock. Check www.ihra.com for daily program listings.
