LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, Fourth annual ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Bob Panella Runs 6.882/200.80, Now #22; Best prior run: 14.217/58.59, Was #28

Panella with a good clean pass.

Left Lane: Jamey Ober Runs 7.067/193.77, Now #28; Best prior run: 7.030/194.88, Was #27
Right Lane: Pat Herold Runs 6.975/198.29, Now #27; No Prior Run

No help for Ober.

Left Lane: Tony Rizzo Runs 10.002/92.26, Now #26; Best prior run: 6.954/199.17, Was #26
Right Lane: Pete Carbery Runs 7.159/193.79, Now #29; Best prior run: 7.038/198.35, Was #29

Rizzo had problems early in the run.

Left Lane: Mark Pawuk Runs 10.954/80.71, Now #24; Best prior run: 6.900/199.46, Was #24
Right Lane: Barry Grant Runs 6.950/198.85, Now #25; Best prior run: 6.933/197.88, Was #25

Pawuk had problems early in the run and clicked it off.

Right Lane: Jim Yates Runs 6.858/199.82, Now #15; Best prior run: 6.884/199.05, Was #23

No help here for Johnson. Yates improves and gets into the show for now and that bumps out Haas.

Right Lane: JR Carr Runs 6.848/200.47, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.878/200.32, Was #22

Carr with a nice looking pass to get into the show and that bumped out Kurt Johnson.

Right Lane: Rickie Smith Runs 6.846/201.22, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.870/200.35, Was #22

Johnson with a nice looking pass to get back into the show. Haas gets into the show and they bumped out Johns and Morgan.

Right Lane: Steve Johns Runs 6.824/201.64, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.853/201.16, Was #17

These two just got bumped out and they both get back into the top half of the show with some nice looking passes.

Krisher had just got bumped out and he doesn't get back in here. Jeg jumps up into the top half of the show.

Right Lane: Bruce Allen Runs 6.850/201.49, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.844/201.37, Was #14

Gaines with a great looking pass to go to the number one spot. Cuadra improves and moves up to the tenth spot.

Right Lane: Jason Line Runs 6.789/202.39, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.828/201.43, Was #9

Anderson had a little wiggle right off the starting line and these two go to numbers one and two.
