Taylor shook early and shut it off. Left Lane: Brian Daniels Runs 11.829/115.37, Now #19; No Prior Run Right Lane: Chip King Runs 6.314/225.41, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.339/225.15, Was #7 Daniels had problems right off the starting line. King launched hard and keep it hooked up to move up the ladder one spot. Left Lane: Dennis Radford No Time, Now #15; Best prior run: 6.582/221.71, Was #15 Right Lane: Jay Payne Runs 9.218/116.12, Now #11; Best prior run: 6.365/219.65, Was #11 Radford had problems getting the car to start. Payne shook early and shut off. Left Lane: Kirk Kuhns Runs 6.525/202.55, Now #15; Best prior run: 10.224/85.65, Was #18 Right Lane: Thomas Patterson Runs 6.331/227.27, Now #7; Best prior run: 6.332/226.16, Was #7 Kuhns lost traction early. It looked like Patterson might of lost an engine on the top end with a big cloud of smoke. Stevens with another good pass to go back to the number one spot. Torkelson improves, but will stay number nine. Left Lane: Troy Critchley Runs 6.274/224.32, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.341/221.45, Was #11 Right Lane: Scott Cannon Jr Runs 17.096/76.40, Now #12; Best prior run: 6.362/224.51, Was #12 Cannon Jr. shook and shut it off. Critchley with a great looking pass to get into the top half of the field. Right Lane: Marty McGinnis Runs 8.046/105.13, Now #17; Best prior run: 6.505/214.76, Was #17 McGinnis shook and shut off. Left Lane: Von Smith Runs 11.039/78.01, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.285/227.00, Was #5 Right Lane: Al Billes Runs 6.300/225.22, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.297/226.13, Was #6 Smith got out about 200 feet and made a quick move toward the centerline and clicked it off. Left Lane: Mike Ashley Runs 6.249/225.45, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.272/224.47, Was #3 Right Lane: Shannon Jenkins Runs 6.259/223.39, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.428/181.59, Was #16 Ashley improves one spot.
