This just in….Look for
Cory
McClenathan to be driving the orange and black
Fram car in 2005 and beyond. The
“Carrier Boyz” race team will announce a multi-year agreement later
this week but
DragRaceCentral.
com has learned that Cory will be driving
the Fram car and that Honeywell, the parent company for Fram, is close to
announcing another deal with another top ten team and that announcement could
come at any time. “We’re really pleased to be able to announce that Fram will
be our major sponsor for the next couple of years,” Cory said. “With their help
and support we have instantly become a team that can contend for the POWERade
championship next year.” Mark and Andy Carrier, owners of the team, added that
they are extremely happy to be the flagship for the Fram products and to add
them to their current list of sponsors. “We were looking for a sponsor that fit
into our plans and our philosophy and a sponsor that we knew we could work
with,” Andy Carrier said. “Fram has such a great history in the automotive
field and such a great tradition in NHRA POWERade racing and we couldn’t be
happier to announce that we will be representing them over the next few years.”
