Nice run by Smith to jump into the field, bumping the elder Tonglet. That puts Andrew Hines on the bubble at 7.368.

Right Lane: GT Tonglet Runs 7.438/173.37, Now #22; Best prior run: 9.173/96.58, Was #33

Camarena bumps Hines out and Tonglet, on the other V-Rod, fails to make the field.

Left Lane: Michael Lozano Runs 7.741/160.71, Now #30; Best prior run: 7.876/155.01, Was #30
Right Lane: Andrew Hines Runs 7.297/179.28, Now #10; Best prior run: 7.368/179.89, Was #17

Nice run by Hines, the quickest ever by a Harley Pro Stock Bike. Andrew Hines' incremental times: 60ft-1.117 sec., 330ft-2.999, 660ft-4.627/149.55mph, 1,000ft-6.065

Left Lane: Chris Reuter Runs 7.323/182.70, Now #12; Best prior run: 7.308/179.17, Was #12
Right Lane: David Feazell Runs 7.420/177.86, Now #22; Best prior run: 8.286/131.19, Was #33

Feazell did not get off the line cleanly, a 1.175 60-foot time well off the pace, but the bike ran strongly on the top end. Good run by Reuter - no improvement, but in the ballpark.

Left Lane: Wesley Wells Runs 7.472/174.35, Now #28; Best prior run: 7.591/172.47, Was #29
Right Lane: Scott Lewis Runs 7.859/167.41, Now #32; Best prior run: 7.973/164.38, Was #32

Wells had a nice 1.118 60-foot time, but the rest of the run didn't live up to the start.

Left Lane: Redell Harris Runs 7.445/175.06, Now #26; Best prior run: 7.580/174.11, Was #29
Right Lane: Hector Arana Runs 9.203/104.23, Now #24; Best prior run: 7.440/175.50, Was #24

Arana abandoned the run and sat up around half track. Nice improvement by Harris, but he's a tenth short.

Left Lane: Greg Underdahl Runs 7.363/177.97, Now #17; Best prior run: 7.464/178.53, Was #28
Right Lane: Karen Stoffer No Time, Now #30; Best prior run: 7.643/144.43, Was #30

Stoffer's bike stopped before going two feet. Underdahl came oh, so close on a nice run.

Left Lane: Brian DeLong Runs 7.583/172.81, Now #28; Best prior run: 7.456/173.94, Was #28
Right Lane: Shawn Gann Runs 7.222/180.32, Now #6; Best prior run: 7.239/185.22, Was #7

Gann stepped up nicely, a smooth run right down the groove to move him one rung upo the ladder. DeLong's bike was slow off the line and never did pick it up.

Left Lane: Sam Hurwitz Runs 7.399/177.02, Now #21; Best prior run: 7.397/178.85, Was #21
Right Lane: Michael Phillips Runs 7.292/178.14, Now #10; Best prior run: 7.388/176.60, Was #20

Oh yeah, the bump time is Steve Johnson's 7.362...Phillips easily topped that, but there was a scary moment when the two bikes got very close together in the shutdown area. Hurwitz' bike was headed for the centerline and barely missed the finish line markers, then went behind Phillips' bike in the shutdown area. That bumped Johnson, putting Matthew Smith on the bubble at 7.346.

Left Lane: Blaine Hale Runs 7.340/177.51, Now #16; Best prior run: 7.441/175.47, Was #26
Right Lane: Matthew Smith Runs 7.395/179.42, Now #17; Best prior run: 7.346/180.25, Was #16

Hale replaced Smith on the bump spot...

Left Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 7.313/178.60, Now #15; Best prior run: 7.362/179.46, Was #18
Right Lane: Gary Tonglet Runs 7.378/176.40, Now #21; Best prior run: 7.377/175.84, Was #21

Johnson got back in, Tonglet did not. Now the bump time was Brian Schultz's 7.328.

Left Lane: Chris Bostick Runs 7.314/178.99, Now #12; Best prior run: 7.300/179.06, Was #12
Right Lane: Keith Freeman Runs 7.560/169.26, Now #23; Best prior run: 7.407/177.16, Was #23

No help for Bostick or Freeman.

Left Lane: Mike Berry Runs 7.260/184.27, Now #3; Best prior run: 7.213/184.99, Was #3
Right Lane: Joe DeSantis Runs 7.305/177.27, Now #13; Best prior run: 7.367/179.24, Was #20

DeSantis got in, bumping Schultz. That put Johnson back on the bubble at 7.313 (quick field!!)

Left Lane: Angelle Savoie Runs 7.160/182.03, Now #1; Best prior run: 7.261/180.25, Was #8
Right Lane: Brian Schultz Runs 7.273/184.69, Now #9; Best prior run: 7.328/177.65, Was #17

Wow! Angelle misses a track record elapsed time by four thousandths and Schultz gets back in, bumping Johnson. Now the bump is John Smith's 7.312. Angelle Savoie's incremental times: 60ft-1.086 sec., 330ft-2.961, 660ft-4.555/153.32mph, 1,000ft-5.953

Left Lane: Fred Collis Runs 15.873/44.02, Now #6; Best prior run: 7.218/184.31, Was #6
Right Lane: Reggie Showers Runs 7.290/180.00, Now #10; Best prior run: 7.278/183.37, Was #10

Collis' bike hit the rev limiter and it sounded like it didn't shift, blue smoke signaling possible engine damage.

Left Lane: Geno Scali Runs 7.183/186.83, Now #3; Best prior run: 7.215/181.67, Was #5
Right Lane: Craig Treble Runs 7.238/184.27, Now #2; Best prior run: 7.176/181.48, Was #2

Nice run by Scali to move right in behind Treble on the ladder. meanwhile, Treble lost a few thousandths.

Left Lane: Antron Brown Runs 7.197/180.68, Now #4; Best prior run: 7.200/183.37, Was #4

Last bike. Brown just saw his new teammate make a great run in the same lane and responded with his best run of the weekend, but stayed fourth in the order.
