GLENDORA, Calif. -- The age limit for junior tickets (ages 6-12) has been expanded to include teens ages 13-17 at select NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series events in 2003, it was announced today by NHRA officials.

The expanded junior ticket program (ages 6-17) will be featured at the O'Reilly Summer Nationals, May 22-25, at Heartland Park Topeka (Kan.); the Pontiac Excitement Nationals, June 12-15, at National Trail Raceway, Columbus, Ohio; the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals, Aug. 27-Sept. 1, at Indianapolis Raceway Park, Clermont, Ind.; and the Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals, Nov. 6-9, Pomona (Calif.) Raceway.

Junior ticket prices are $10-$12 for general admission, available any day at all four national events. Junior reserved seat ticket prices range between $18-$25 for Friday-Sunday at all four venues, and extend through Monday at the Mac Tools U.S. Nationals.
