COMMERCE, Ga. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Competition Eliminator at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 23rd annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Southern Nationals presented by Pontiac:

Both drivers in this first pair survived the first round without incurring any CIC penalties, Roberts doing so ona competition single. Two more with their indexes intact. Timmerman was very late and Westcott backed off well before the finish line to save his index for tomorrow - but he waited a bit too long and bought a 0.02 CIC anyway.
