We have sunshine for the first time of the weekend. Neither driver wanted to stage, finally Johnson went on. Coughlin went red by one-thousandth of a second so the win goes to Johnson.

Johnson left 0.014 seconds too soon and lit the red light. Anderson has lane choice over Yates in the semi-finals.

WJ had the better light by four-thousandths of a second and took this round. He gave up lane choice in the semi-final round to Kurt Johnson.
