ENGLISHTOWN, N.J. - Jason Kenny, Glenburnie, Ontario, was not injured after losing control of his '03 Chevy Corvette Super Gas roadster during the second round of eliminations Sunday morning at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park.

Running in the right lane, Kenny crossed the finish lane at 153 mph in a losing effort, then lost control of the car. The car crossed the centerline and rolled over several times, coming to a stop near the end of the shutdown area.

Kenny was assisted from his car, which was extensively damaged, but the safety equipment did its job and Kenny was reported to be "okay."
