HEBRON, Ohio - Results of round 2 eliminations in Competition Eliminator at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 39th annual Pontiac Excitement Nationals presented by Summit Racing:

3:55 PM Treadwell took a 0.04 CIC penalty in the first round, Slagle was untouched. Treadwell took back almost all his CIC at the green and won without further damage to his index. Glen Treadwell's MOV: 0.2807 seconds (approximately 49 feet).

No CICs for either in the first round. Eckard gave Rampy an extra tenth of a second head start and still ran him down, Rampy slowing on the top end. Steve Eckard's MOV: 0.1762 seconds (approximately 33 feet).

Smith's Bantam did a two-foot wheelie on the launch. Charlie Yannetti's MOV: 0.3468 seconds (approximately 63 feet) and he avoided adding to his 0.01 CIC penalty from the first round.
