6:50 PM Bailey came into the semifinals with just 0.02 seconds in CIC penalties, Aragona was penalized 0.05. Bailey had problems staging the car and the autostart system timed out on him, lighting the red bulb.

Ackerman came in with 0.09 seconds in CIC penalties, Landies 0.01. Ackerman earned another 0.02 in temporary CIC and 0.01 in permanent index adjustment to take the win and race Aragona in the finals. Al Ackerman's MOV: 0.1548 seconds (approximately 37 feet).
