MADISON, Ill. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Pro Modified at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, Seventh annual Sears Craftsman NHRA Nationals:

Smith gets the hole-shot but Castellana reels him in by the first marker and pulls away. Mike Castellana's incremental margins: 60ft(0.011), 330 ft(0.025), 660ft(0.028), 1,000ft(0.025). MOV: 0.0188 seconds (approximately 6 feet).
