MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Top Fuel at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 16th annual O'Reilly NHRA Mid-South Nationals presented by Pennzoil:

Russell has beat Baca the three out the four time these two have race including at the last race in round two. Russell is out of the gate first and never looked back to move into the semifinals. Baca dropped a cylinder on the top end.

Bernstein has a 17 to 11 advantage over Kalitta in head to head match ups. Kalitta with the starting line advantage, but then Bernstein blistered the Goodyears and lifts about the same time Kalitta smokes the hides. Kalitta is able to ge his dragster to hook back up and take the win.

Dixon has a 20 to 13 head to head advantage over McClenathan. McClenathan is out of the gate first, but dixon has the difference made up by 60 feet and win this drag race. Larry Dixon's incremental margins (negative if behind): 60ft(0.007), 330 ft(-0.008), 660ft(-0.015), 1,000ft(-0.007). MOV: 0.0097 seconds (approximately 4 feet).

Dixon will have lane choice over Russell in round two.

This is only the second time these two have raced and Schumacher won the first time they meet. Schumacher is out of the gate first and never looked back running low E.T. of the round and he will have lane choice over Kalitta in the semifinal.
