Surprisingly, DeFrank has not won a national event since the Winternationals in 2001, although he was runner-up at Houston earlier this year. Goldie with the holeshot, and the double-breakout win.

Stinnett has 12 national event wins, and Bogner was runner-up at Indy this year. This one goes to Stinnett via the holeshot.

DeFrank gets the win and will try to avenge brother Jimmy's loss to Goldie in the semi's.

They had Fletcher's dial wrong and he had to wait for them to change it. It doesn't affect him, however, as he pushes Antrobius under his dial. That sets up a great battle between Fletcher and Stinnett in the semi's.
