2:46 p.m. Hemmingson has lost .09 and Biondo .11, so this should be a great race. No matter what happens, we'll have a dragster vs. door car final in Comp.

Biondo chops down the Tree and takes the holeshot win. He'll go for his first Comp win since 1996.

Bailey shook and had to pedal it, and that was enough for Engels to march into the final, keeping his national title hopes alive. Unfortunately for him, he took too much stripe and lost another .08 in CIC, making a total of .11 for the event. But when you're trying to win a championship, it's CIC be damned.
