Nitro Harley Qualifying Notes, Session #2

ENNIS, Texas - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Screamin' Eagle Nitro Harley at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 18th annual O'Reilly Fall Nationals presented by Castrol Syntec listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Doug Vancil Runs 6.714/212.36, Now #3; Best prior run: 7.261/209.93, Was #8
Right Lane: Joe Scatella Runs 9.442/123.05, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.973/200.93, Was #7

Scatella blistered the rear slick right off the starting line.

Left Lane: Steve Stordeur Runs 6.436/217.97, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.472/216.71, Was #1
Right Lane: Mark Conner Runs 6.577/213.87, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.632/210.52, Was #4

Stordeur with another great looking pass here. Conner slides right in behind him in the number two spot.

Left Lane: Johnny Mancuso Runs 6.523/210.08, Now #2; Best prior run: 6.594/205.52, Was #3
Right Lane: Bill Furr Runs 6.724/203.48, Now #6; Best prior run: 9.069/94.72, Was #9

Mancuso launched hard and drives to the number two spot.

Left Lane: Jack Romine Runs 6.513/214.54, Now #2; Best prior run: 16.057/63.22, Was #11
Right Lane: Tii Tharpe Runs 7.622/125.80, Now #8; Best prior run: 6.735/202.52, Was #7

Romine goes from the outside of the show to the number two spot.

Right Lane: Tracy Kile Runs 7.630/170.87, Now #9; Best prior run: 6.841/200.53, Was #9

Right Lane: Larry Brancaccio Runs 7.490/138.82, Now #11; Best prior run: 12.198/68.71, Was #11

Right Lane: Mark Cox Runs 6.605/206.04, Now #5; Best prior run: 6.618/203.57, Was #5
