Pro Stock Qualifying Notes, Session #3

ENNIS, Texas - Notes from round 3 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 18th annual O'Reilly Fall Nationals presented by Castrol Syntec listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Troy Coughlin Runs 6.867/201.47, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.900/198.63, Was #17
Right Lane: Darrell Alderman Runs 6.901/201.07, Now #19; Best prior run: 6.907/200.08, Was #22

Current weather conditions: 75 degrees, 65 percent relative humidity, the barometer 29.94 inches, with a track temperature of 104 degrees under sunny skies.

Troy has a 1.017 60-foot time and makes a great looking pass to jump into the top half of the field. That bumped out Haas and put Krisher on the bubble.

Right Lane: Jose Maldonado Runs 6.965/199.60, Now #32; Best prior run: 6.988/199.24, Was #31

Grant with his best pass of the weekend, but is just short by 0.007 seconds.

Left Lane: Fernando Cuadra Runs 6.933/200.62, Now #28; Best prior run: 6.948/200.13, Was #30
Right Lane: Arturo Delgado Runs 6.941/198.76, Now #30; Best prior run: 6.954/199.46, Was #31

Both of these guys improve, but not near enough.

Left Lane: Mark Whisnant Runs 6.893/201.07, Now #17; Best prior run: 6.936/200.08, Was #29

Wells with his best pass of the weekend, but comes up short.

Right Lane: Nick Fratt No Time, Now #28; Best prior run: 6.919/201.07, Was #27

Fratt couldn't get the car to start.

Right Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 11.182/68.60, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.861/201.83, Was #4

Krisher improves, but will stay on the bubble.

Patrick tied Krisher, but Krisher gets the spot because he was faster.

Yates gets in the show and that bumps out Krisher and put Corvo on the bubble.

Wilson with the quickest pass of the session.

Right Lane: Jeg Coughlin Runs 6.860/201.52, Now #3; Best prior run: 6.870/201.11, Was #11

Jeg now with the quickest pass of the session.

This was a pretty good looking drag race here side by side to numbers 2 and 3 spots.

Right Lane: Bruce Allen Runs 6.856/201.79, Now #4; Best prior run: 6.859/202.06, Was #4

Allen with his best pass of the weekend, but will stay number four. No help for Warren.

Left Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 6.861/202.06, Now #6; Best prior run: 6.861/201.83, Was #6
Right Lane: Greg Anderson Runs 6.835/202.79, Now #1; Best prior run: 6.840/202.88, Was #1

Morgan matches his time from last night today in the heat of the day while Anderson runs low E.T. of the event to remain number one.
