Pro Stock Qualifying Notes, Session #2
By Jonathan Adams

LAS VEGAS - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, Third annual ACDelco Las Vegas NHRA Nationals listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:
Left Lane: Troy Coughlin Runs 6.900/198.93, Now #1; Best prior run: 17.800/44.42, Was #31

6:12 p.m. We're under the lights, and the air temperature is dropping by the minute. For the Pro Stock teams, this might be a do-or-die session, as we expect more 80 degree temperatures tomorrow. The bump is 7.045.

If that's a sign of things to come, then we'll see a lot of changes in this session. Nice run for Coughlin.

They both get in, but will it last?

Right Lane: Barry Grant Runs 6.974/198.93, Now #8; Best prior run: 12.128/71.41, Was #31
