POMONA, Calif. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Pro Stock at the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series, 38th annual Automobile Club of Southern California NHRA Finals:

Wilson chops the tree down on Jeg and holds on for a holeshot win. Wilson had about .03 in the bank at the start and holds on.

Well you an live and lose on the tree. The Sanyo blimp was landing and crossed in front of the drivers vision just as the tree came down. Distraction? The red comes on and Anderson is through to the semi final round.

Warren is second off the line again but as in round one he drives around the fellow in the other lane. Again Warren has low ET and top speed of the round.

KJ takes the win over Lee and also slots in to the semi final round. WJ will have lane choice over Gene Wilson in one semi. In the other it will be Anderson with lane choice over KJ.
