5:32 PM Branch has had the better reaction times today and nails Gasparrelli by .02 this round. He leads him down the track until right at the 660 foot lights, where there is a flash and bang from the engine and he slows. Gasparrelli is only .011 behind him at that point and improves on his prior times to take the win.

Looks like no oil on the track.

Good race! Gordon is away first and gives Austin a run for his money. They were dead even at the 1000 foot lights and Gordon's engine starts to leave a trail of smoke to past the finish line. Austin will have lane choice in the final.
