The PRO National Warmups, part of the annual "spring training" ritual for NHRA's drag racers, will be held Jan. 24-26 at Southwestern International Raceway in Tucson, Ariz. The event will offer free testing for all Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock teams. Unlike in previous years, all teams, whether PRO members or not, are invited to attend. Each PRO team that makes a minimum of one run Jan. 25 and 26 will receive $1,000; non-PRO members who wish to join will be credited with $1,000 toward membership dues. Guaranteed headliners are Top Fuel rookie Brandon Bernstein and all three of John Force's Funny Cars, driven by Force, Tony Pedregon, and Gray Densham.
