LAS VEGAS - Results of round 2 eliminations in Federal-Mogul Funny Car at the Division Seven FMDRS Final:

Weaver does his job on the tree and has the power to hold off the quicker Payne for the hole shot victory. Margin of victory = 0.003 seconds (approximately 13 inches). Payne was out of the groove, but stayed with it.

Harker strapped a hole shot on Austin and had the power to hold on for the win. Margin of victory = 0.013 seconds (approximately 5 feet). Harker will have lane choice over Weaver in the semi-finals.

Gasparrelli was out of the gate first and never looked back had a quick flash of fire from underneath the car on the top end. Looked like he lost an engine here. Gallio got out of the groove and real close to the wall and then back over close to the centerline finally crossing it after the finish line.

Gordon with the slight starting line advantage and enough power to hold off White to take the third hole shot win of the round. Margin of victory = 0.013 seconds (approximately 5 feet). Gordon will give up lane choice to Gasparrelli in the semi-finals. White got out of the groove and over by the centerline and I believe this ends his hopes of winning the Division 3 title and Chuck Cheeseman will win the Federal-Mogul Division 3 championship.
