They left together and Dunn was up in smoke immediately. Kalitta started to smoke the big Goodyears around 600 feet and blistered them all the way through the quarter mile. Looked like he threw the blower belt off around 1200 feet.

Bernstein is out of the gate first, but Dixon and that LaHaie power chase him down by half track to take the win. This was a great win for Dixon to stay in the points chase with Bernstein. Dixon will have lane choice over Kalitta in the final.
