Meyer needed to get to the final round here to clinch the division championship. He rolled through the beams for the red light loss.

Traugott is racing as an alternate in place of Shelly Howard. He shook the tires on the launch, moved toward the retaining wall at 330 feet and couldn't get the car back into the groove until after half track.

Bowler smoked the tires immediately and was off the throttle by the 60-foot mark. Bradshaw with give up lane choice to Santos in round two.
