READING - Pro Stock Bike Round 3 Eliminations

MOHNTON, Pa. - Results of round 3 eliminations in Pro Stock Bike at the 17th annual Pep Boys NHRA Nationals presented by Greased Lightning:

So far, Brown has made it through the rounds without having to beat another rider to the finish line. In round one, Chris Reuter had shifter problems and in round two, Mike Berry left too soon. This time, Brown faced the woman who is ahead of him in the season points standings. Savoie got the quicker start and was quicker through the quarter mile, so she'll move into the finals and she'll maintain her lead over Brown in the championship standings. Margin of victory = 0.087 seconds (approximately 23 feet).

Johnson got into the final for the first time this season when Tonglet drew the red light at the start. While Johnson won the race, he lost lane choice to Savoie.
