4:12 PM These two are running in Division 6, way up in the Northwest, and both came all the way here to the Northeast to meet in the finals, Santos trying to keep Hentges from eating into his Federal-Mogul championship points lead. He came up short in uncharacteristic form, Hentges with a psychic light and Santos very late. Hentges wins the quickest blown alcohol dragster final round in history on a holeshot. Margin of victory = 0.046 seconds (approximately 18 feet).
