Papadakis looked awesome on this run - monster burnout, and a slam bam blast right down the middle of the left lane. He made a couple of wiggles during each shift, otherwise the run was just about perfect. Sabori trailed at the stripe by over 100 feet.

This was wild! Vidal won the race, but was not wearing the required safety attire for this class. As a result he was disqualified at the top end, and Gonzalez, who broke at the starting line is the winner.

Paisley had a single, started, then drove so slowly the timers reset before he crossed the finish line. In round two Paisley will race Papadakis, and Gonzalez and Locheed will square off.
