1:37 PM Man, is it hot outside. The conditions havn't gotten any better so these folks will have a tough time of it. Of course I thought the same thing in the first round but there were several very good runs. Smoke for Lechtenberg. Lechtenberg had real problems getting the car to go forward and almost didn't make the call.

Big problems for Dunlap. As they tried to start the car there was a very large boom and a cloud of smoke out of his racecar. He could only watch as McDaniel smoked the tires and shut off very early. He was there for the taking. It will be Howard Haight and Rance McDaniel in the final.
