MILLINGTON, Tenn. - Results of round 2 eliminations in Federal-Mogul Dragster at the 14th annual AutoZone NHRA Nationals presented by Pennzoil:

Thacker did his job on the tree, but did not have the power to hold off Fuentes. Fuentes with tire shake right off the starting line, but was able to drive through it. He then got out of the groove and close to the centerline, but keep his foot in it.

They leave together, but it was all Bartone from there as he drove away with the injected Nitro power. His quickest pass of the weekend.

Meyer out of the gate first, but not enough power to hold off Gallant. Gallant was a little side ways on the starting line, but when the injected nitro car hooked up it blasted through the quarter-mile. Gallant with the quick et of the event and lane choice over Bartone.

Meyer with the starting line advantage and never looked back to move into the semi-finals. He will have lane choice over Fuentes in the next round.
