MORRISON, Colo. - Results of round 1 eliminations in Federal-Mogul Funny Car at the NHRA Division 5 Federal-Mogul Drag Racing Series Event:

12:15 PM Oliver still can't get the Monza to stay in the groove, the car was moving all over his lane.

Griboski shook for the first 60 feet, then had to fight to keep the car off of the centerline in the middle section of the track.

Williams had severe tire shake on the launch, the rear end of the car was bouncing around violently. To add insult to injury, he blew the burst panel at the 800-foot mark. Harrington will have lane choice over moats in the second round.

Both cars moved to the right, with Jones able to keep the car off the wall and take the win. He will give up lane choice to Kirk Williams in the second round.
