MEDFORD, Ore. - Results of final, round 3 eliminations in Federal-Mogul Funny Car at the Snap On Tools Valley Thunder Weekend:

Both of these drivers have faced each other many times - and they are known for playing some cards at the staging area and starting lines. Sometimes they don't, but you can rest easy both machines are loaded up and set on max. Both cars sat with prestage lights on for a few seconds, but it wasn't very long this time around. Pat's numbers were better from reaction time to finish line. Evidently the slower top end charge of Bucky was due to a mechanical gremlin of some kind, because we have "stuff on the racetrack."
