By Bob Orme

MORRISON, Colo. - Notes from round 2 qualifying in Federal-Mogul Funny Car at the NHRA Division 5 Federal-Mogul Drag Racing Series Event listing lane, driver name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

3:50 PM Harrington shook hard on the hit, then went up in smoke. Moats was moving around a bit on the top end of the track, but was good enough to move into the number two spot for now.

Right Lane: Bob Hurley Runs 7.005/203.19, Now #8; Best prior run: 7.488/186.20, Was #8

Oliver's car was bouncing all the way to the half track timing cones, which he almost took out. He was very close to the centerline in the middle section of the track.

Left Lane: Steve Griboski Runs 6.330/228.38, Now #6; Best prior run: 8.148/130.27, Was #9
