By Michael L. Jex Plans Rain Washes Out Action Today. Will Try Again Tomorrow.

BAYTOWN, Texas. - Due to continued rain showers and thunderstorms racing action has been canceled today at Houston Raceway Park. Racing action will resume tomorrow - Monday Sept 10th. Gates will open at 9:00 am with a single time trial session at noon, followed by round one of eliminations at 1:00pm. The time trial session will not count towards qualifying.
