As it should be the number one and two qualifiers square off for all the marbles. It's warm outside, 84 degrees and 55 percent humidity. Most teams with lane choice have chosen the left lane, Anderson was no exception. Osborne had a great light, but the Neon failed to hook up - Anderson's 1.044 60-foot time was much better than Osborne's tire spinning 1.071. The rest of the way it was all Pontiac. Greg Anderson was runner-up here in 1999, this is his first win at the US Nationals.
