3:31 PM Capps was up in smoke at 200 feet. He stayed on it, pedaled at half track, and lost traction again. Bazemore also hazed the tires, but it wasn't clear where in the run that it happened, as the view was obscured by Capps' tire smoke.

Frank smoked the tires at the 330-foot mark. He wasn't able to hook it back up until half track. Tony also smoked the tires, but he waited until he was near the finish line to do it. That ended Frank's shot at doubling up this weekend. After winning the Bud Shootout, he was eligible for a $50,000 bonus for winning the event. Tony will have lane choice over Bazemore in the final round.
