BRISTOL, Tenn. -- The 2000 season for the Southeast Division Federal-Mogul Drag Racing Series has concluded with this weekends final event at Bristol Dragway located in Bristol, Tenn. "It's bee a real good season overall, we've produced one national champion with Edmond Richardson in Stock Eliminator and a few others that are still in contention for a national championship as well as a division champion title. I can't think of a better way to end the season then to have the final race here at Bristol Dragway. It's certainly the high-point of the season." said Southeast Division Director Bill Holt.

Those earning the title of Division Champion to date are; Michael Gunderson, Federal-Mogul Dragster, Jay Payne, Federal-Mogul Funny Car, Jerry Silveus, Super Stock and Edmund Richardson in Stock Eliminator. All other classes not listed are still being contested and will be determined at the end of the last Federal-Mogul Drag Racing Series event on November 5, 2000 at Firebird Raceway in Chandler, Arizona.
