By Larry Sullivan Mother Nature Doesn't Like Pro Stock Truck

ENNIS, Texas - 12:15 PM - We are on yet another rain delay here at the Texas Motorplex.

Mother Nature is being particularly difficult today, rain returning just as the first pair of Pro Stock Trucks pulled to the line. After a few minutes of light rain, the rain stopped. The break in the rain was just long enough for the track crew to dry the track and the first pair of trucks to get down the track. Then heavy rain started falling before the second pair could back up from their burnouts.

There have been several "what-if" meetings between NHRA and Motorplex officials this morning, but the only official word so far is that we are still trying to get this race run this weekend.

The track is drenched and it's still raining, so we'll be down for at least an hour, probably more.

If the situation changes, we'll let you know.
