BAYTOWN, Texas - Notes from final, round 4 qualifying in Pro Stock Bike at the 4th annual Matco Tools SuperNationals presented by Racing Champions listing lane, rider name, elapsed time/top speed this round, position in order following run, best prior elapsed time/speed, and position in order prior to run:

Left Lane: Kevin Smith Runs 15.255/0.00, Now #26; Best prior run: 7.796/172.85, Was #26
Right Lane: Lori Francis Runs 8.709/113.50, Now #28; Best prior run: 8.290/138.00, Was #28

Smith sits up before 200 feet and his weekend is over. Francis also has problems and will not make the show.

Right Lane: Linda Jackson Runs 8.199/154.88, Now #27; Best prior run: 8.094/163.79, Was #27

It's been a great weekend for Baisley but just not quick enough. Good running Harley.

Harris leaves before the tree is activated. Johnese gets no help.

Right Lane: David Feazell Runs 7.661/170.36, Now #22; Best prior run: 7.651/169.23, Was #22

Feazell has the quickest run of the weekend for the Harleys, but not good enough to qualify. Markham just misses.

Right Lane: Ron Ayers No Time, Now #19; Best prior run: 7.507/176.05, Was #19

Ayers broke and was pushed away. DeSantis gets no help.

Right Lane: Brian DeLong Runs 7.542/176.21, Now #18; Best prior run: 7.467/175.64, Was #18

Berry stays in but DeLong will have to watch on Sunday.

Gann has been destroying engine parts all weekend so this was a much better pass. No smoke. Johnson slows from his best.

Right Lane: Geno Scali Runs 7.335/178.50, Now #5; Best prior run: 7.301/182.67, Was #5

Both riders slow from their best.

Right Lane: Matt Hines Runs 7.282/181.37, Now #3; Best prior run: 7.285/180.62, Was #4

Good runs for both riders.

Left Lane: Angelle Seeling Runs 7.260/182.70, Now #1; Best prior run: 7.202/184.88, Was #1
Right Lane: Antron Brown No Time, Now #2; Best prior run: 7.264/183.87, Was #2

Brown makes the burnout but when he lights the first light the team backs him out and he shuts the bike off. Seeling takes the single and fails to improve. She does hold on to the top qualifying spot and championship points that go with it. This was the last pair so qualifying is now over for the class.
