NORWALK, Ohio -- IHRA Vice President Sales/Marketing Aaron Polburn has announced Lenco Equipment will sponsor a Top Dragster shootout in 2001.

The Lenco Top Dragster Shootout will be contested at all IHRA National Events during the traditional "Night of Fire"; the quickest eight cars racing heads up on a pro tree with no breakouts.

The Lenco Top Dragster Shootout winner receives $1,000, the runner-up $500. Racers reaching the semi-finals receive $250.

"IHRA is pleased to showcase our Top Dragster class during " Night of Fire", said Polburn. "The Top Dragster class is filled with passionate drivers and we're looking forward to presenting heads up racing, in front of big crowds.
