INDIANAPOLIS -- With testing scheduled to begin in exactly one month, five additional teams have joined their respective fields for the PRO National Warmup, January 19 - 21 at Southwestern International Raceway (SIR) in Tucson, Arizona.

1999 NHRA Winston Champion Tony Schumacher will unveil the newest U.S. Army Top Fuel entry and new teammate Whit Bazemore will debut the new Matco Tools Pontiac Firebird out of the expanded stable of team owner Don Schumacher.

Also scheduled for the Tucson event is fan favorite Scotty Cannon with his wild Oakley Camaro tuned this year by veteran crew chief Wes Cerny.

Tim Gibson will be in Tucson to oversee the aerodynamic development of the newest Ford Mustangs of John Force and Tony Pedregon and to drive the Bill Miller Top Fuel Dragster -- not necessarily in that order or priority.

Gary Densham, whose Auto Club of Southern California Pontiac Funny Car is being duplicated as a 70 foot float for the Tournament of Roses Parade, will be in Tucson with his real 310 MPH Pontiac.

The PRO National Warmup offers racers and fans a three day testing extravaganza just two weeks prior to the NHRA season opener, the Autozone Winternationals in Pomona, California. Tucson fans will see the biggest stars in NHRA Winston Drag Racing for ticket prices starting at $10. The SIR quarter mile is rated by drivers as one of the finest in the country and fans will enjoy the view from an expanded grandstand seating section.
