Left Lane: Arnie Martel Runs 7.669/174.53, Now #1 Right Lane: Jim Kennedy Runs 16.622/47.20, Now #2 2:01 PM Time for our first round of Pro qualifying and the temp is is in the mid fifties. Kennedy comes off the line, gets sideways and shuts down. Left Lane: Samuel Tompkins Runs 7.667/175.32, Now #2 Right Lane: Don Smith Runs 7.590/176.86, Now #1 Both cars make a move to the left but get the trucks straightened out for decent runs. Left Lane: Greg Stanfield Runs 7.547/178.57, Now #1 Right Lane: Jeff Gracia Runs 7.585/177.21, Now #2 Stanfield makes a move towards the centerline but gets it back in the groove to take the pole for now. Left Lane: Lou Ficco Runs 7.564/176.40, Now #2 Right Lane: John Coughlin Runs 7.585/177.23, Now #3 Ficco makes a good pass to get in right behind Stanfield. Coughlin makes a move to the left but gets it straightened out. Left Lane: Larry Seay Runs 7.546/176.44, Now #1 Right Lane: Craig Eaton Runs 7.695/174.77, Now #9 Seay keeps it in the groove all the way down the track and takes over the top spot. Left Lane: Jeff Naiser Runs 7.548/177.18, Now #4 Right Lane: Mark Whisnant Runs 7.542/177.74, Now #1 Whisnant runs a career best ET and takes over the pole for now. Left Lane: Randy Daniels Runs 7.499/178.68, Now #1 Right Lane: Taylor Lastor Runs 7.592/177.00, Now #10 Great pass by Daniels to take the pole for now. Left Lane: Joe Pigford Runs 7.606/175.27, Now #12 Right Lane: Bob Panella Jr Runs 7.519/178.97, Now #2 Pigford runs a career best ET and gets in the twelfth spot. Panella jumps into the second spot. Left Lane: Bart Price Runs 7.585/177.93, Now #9 Right Lane: Larry Kopp Runs 7.574/177.37, Now #8 Decent runs for both drivers to get in the middle of the field. Left Lane: Steven Farr Runs 7.602/176.65, Now #15 Right Lane: Mike Coughlin Runs 7.534/178.42, Now #3 Coughlin moves around a little in the middle of the run but hangs on for a decent pass. Farr gets in and puts Pigford on the bump with a 7.606. Left Lane: Dale Eaton Runs 7.596/175.98, Now #16 Right Lane: Brian Self Runs 7.545/177.70, Now #5 Eaton knocks out Pigford and gets in on the bump spot. Left Lane: Todd Patterson Runs 7.529/177.09, Now #3 Right Lane: John Lingenfelter Runs 7.589/177.77, Now #15 Patterson runs a career best ET and gets in the third spot. Lingenfelter gets a little out of shape. Left Lane: David Spitzer Runs 7.498/177.49, Now #1 Right Lane: Rick Jones Runs 7.595/177.02, Now #19 The career best ET's continue here as Spitzer improves on his by .04 to take the pole for now. Lingenfelter is on the pole with a 7.589. Left Lane: Charles Greco Runs 7.572/176.95, Now #12 Right Lane: Ruben Celedon Runs 7.581/177.00, Now #14 Celedon runs his career best ET and gets in. Left Lane: Rob Slavinski Runs 7.543/177.88, Now #7 Right Lane: Scott Perin Runs 13.657/60.13, Now #29 Perin gets out of shape coming off the line and aborts the run. Slavinski gets in the top half of the field. Left Lane: Chip Ippolito Runs 7.620/175.43, Now #27 Right Lane: Steve Johns Runs 7.529/179.35, Now #4 That ends the round with Spitzer on the pole and Celedon on the bump with a 7.581.
