5:24 PM Despite all of Wilson's aerodynamic innovations, he was done in by tire shake, the rear of his car bouncing violently, forcing him to shut it down. Booz lost a tenth of a second from her earlier eliminations runs, but still won easily, her first national event win after defeating three tough opponents to get to the finals - Mike Kosky, Dave Hirata, and Tony Lebor.
