2:47 PM We open round two with a pair of red cars on the line. Morgan was just plain somewhere else, Smith launching so far ahead that everyone started looking for a red light.

No staging duel here, Alderman going in almost immediately after Coughlin lit the pre-stage bulb. Jeg leaves first, runs quicker, and gets lane choice against WJ in the semifinals. The margin of victory = 0.031 seconds (approximately 9 feet).

Kurt didn't qualify well, but he's been tough in eliminations, cutting a good light here against Krisher and then running away for the win by a margin of victory = 0.040 seconds (approximately 12 feet), also earning lane choice against Smith in the semifinals.
