Right Lane: Shawn Gann Runs 10.371/79.61, Now #11; Best prior run: 7.378/177.56, Was #11 11:23 AM Gann starts off this session with a broken run. He had a 1.10 sixty foot time and was on his way to a good run, then something breaks just as he makes his third shift. Left Lane: Lori Francis Runs 8.182/150.98, Now #27; Best prior run: 7.916/154.14, Was #27 Right Lane: Greg Underdahl Runs 7.354/182.70, Now #10; Best prior run: 7.365/181.54, Was #10 Francis has her hands full on this run. The bike heads for the centerline then the rear end of the bike starts moving around. Left Lane: Neil Jacobs No Time, Now #21; Best prior run: 7.525/181.13, Was #21 Right Lane: Dan Baisley Runs 7.667/169.10, Now #25; Best prior run: 7.769/163.14, Was #26 Jacobs leaves before the tree is activated. Baisley makes the quickest run ever by a Harley in NHRA competition. Left Lane: Don DeTurck Runs 7.813/148.38, Now #26; Best prior run: 7.721/172.19, Was #26 Right Lane: Scott Cannon No Time, Now #18; Best prior run: 7.489/177.58, Was #18 Cannon leaves before the tree is activated. DeTurck doesn't improve. Left Lane: Mike Berry Runs 7.368/179.92, Now #12; Best prior run: 7.436/175.55, Was #16 Right Lane: Steve Johnson Runs 7.322/187.70, Now #8; Best prior run: 7.451/179.40, Was #17 Berry runs a career best ET and gets in the show at number twelve. Johnson goes from outside the show into the top half of the field. Left Lane: Brian DeLong Runs 20.470/33.30, Now #17; Best prior run: 7.426/181.57, Was #17 Right Lane: Hector Arana Runs 7.449/182.06, Now #18; Best prior run: 7.524/173.34, Was #20 DeLong comes off the line, heads for the wall and has to shut it down. Arana improves on his previous runs but still can't get in this quick field. Left Lane: Clarence Markham Runs 7.423/175.68, Now #16; Best prior run: 7.424/179.64, Was #16 Right Lane: Reggie Showers Runs 7.476/178.38, Now #14; Best prior run: 7.417/177.00, Was #14 Markham improves slightly but can't get off the bump. Showers doesn't improve and stays in 14th. Left Lane: Rob Short Runs 7.413/175.96, Now #14; Best prior run: 7.421/183.79, Was #15 Right Lane: Michael Phillips Runs 7.325/183.07, Now #9; Best prior run: 7.341/175.43, Was #10 Phillips runs a career best ET and moves into the 10th spot. Short moves up a notch. Left Lane: Geno Scali Runs 7.299/178.21, Now #7; Best prior run: 7.328/179.18, Was #10 Right Lane: Craig Treble Runs 7.239/180.62, Now #3; Best prior run: 7.289/178.66, Was #6 Left Lane: Blaine Hale No Time, Now #8; Best prior run: 7.321/181.06, Was #8 Right Lane: John Smith Runs 7.190/187.83, Now #1; Best prior run: 7.276/184.47, Was #6 Smith runs a career best ET and takes over the top spot. Hale stages then rolls out of the beams just as the tree is activated. Left Lane: Tony Mullen Runs 7.215/182.23, Now #4; Best prior run: 7.261/183.64, Was #5 Right Lane: Angelle Seeling Runs 7.156/186.23, Now #1; Best prior run: 7.269/168.22, Was #6 Angelle sets the track record and runs her career best ET to take away the top spot for now. Hines will be next. Left Lane: Matt Hines Runs 7.187/181.79, Now #2; Best prior run: 7.195/185.54, Was #3 Right Lane: Antron Brown Runs 7.193/190.51, Now #4; Best prior run: 7.234/184.55, Was #5 Hines makes a good run but can't bump Seeling out of the top spot. Brown runs a career best ET and has his fastest run this year. We end this round with Seeling leading the pack and Markham on the bump with a 7.423.
