MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Edmond Richardson took a huge points lead in Stock Eliminator for the National Championship with his win at Montgomery Motorsports Park. Richardson took out Brandon Wood with a pass of 11.312 seconds at 106.83 mph to Wood's 12.167 at 107.48.

"The car was phenomenal this weekend. I didn't have to do a thing to it", voiced Richardson of this weekend. "Last weekend we had all kinds of problems in Indy. Speedy (Harvey Emmons III) has a mathematical chance of catching me but he'll have to win his last three races of the year. We're in real good shape for the Championship."

Number one qualifier Larry Pritchett beat Jeff Taylor to take home the win in Comp. Eliminator Pritchett crossed the line at 8.156, 161.08 to Taylor's 8.105, 145.77.

Local favorite Lamar Stevenson of Montgomery, Ala. made it to the final round of Super Street before falling to Allen Sharp.
